Our hope for our 6th-12th grade students is that they grow where they are loved, live into who they were created to be, and love everyone always.

GENERAL INFO
Our goal is to create a safe space for our students to grow up in — a place where everyone is welcome and treated with kindness.
We use the Grow curriculum to help enrich the faith journeys of our young people. In addition to the opportunities we provide, we encourage students to use their talents in worship leadership and music ministry.
YOUTH GROUP
Our youth group meets most Sundays throughout the school year from 2–3:30 pm. Our emphasis is connecting with each other & God through interactive discussions, games, fellowship, missional opportunities, and offsite events.
SMALL GROUPS
We offer separate opportunities for Middle & High school students that meet consistently during the school year, currently on Wednesday evenings.
Contact Stacy Roberts (sroberts@stmarksmidlo.com) for information about any of our small groups.
RETREATS
Each year, we attend a retreat for middle & high school students at Watermarks Camp in Scottsville, VA. The cost is usually around $150 per student. This retreat features a dynamic speaker, a worship band, small groups and relationship-building activities.
MISSION TRIPS
In the summer, we attend a mission trip focusing on ministry with the homeless, light home repairs, food insecurity, etc. In the past, we have gone to Nashville, Washington D.C., Boston & Philadelphia. These trips range in cost from $250-$700.
WORSHIP
Opportunities to greet, usher, read scripture, lead in worship, preach, sing, and play instruments are available for our students at both 9 and 11 am.
